About Me

Lets do a brief history shall we?1979 - born the second of twins (apparently due to procrastination in the fallopian tube) in Guildford, England. 1980-85 - boring baby stuff. 1985-1991 - attended St Thomas school and showed academic brilliance throughout. Only second best at maths (damn you Cassie Allen). 1991-1997 - headed to St Peters School. Realised that girls werent the repugnant objects who kept trying to kiss you. They were beautiful creatures who wouldnt kiss you as much as you tried. Lots of unrequited love, a BBC at A' Level and a mild alcohol problem 1997-1998 - worked at Odeon in year out. Unfettered hedonism. Full of coolest people i'd ever met and most attractive girls (some of whom actually said yes!). Serious alcohol problem. 1998-2001 - renewed acquaintainces with academia...only after spending first year getting drunk (66 days in a row). Hooked up with stunning girl, got dumped, went a bit nuts, loafed a lot, slept around a bit, played a lot of Goldeneye, amassed huge debt and come out with a 2:1. Thats the way to do it folks. Chronic alcoholism 2002-2003 - Guildford Law College and also a lot of time in Powerhouse and Mash Tun. Didnt fail just havent passed yet. Lets call this a transient period. 2003-2005 - got a proper job with Countrywide Property Lawyers. All the people great. Got three valentines cards and moved in with a girl in Aldershot for a year. These two facts are unrelated. Got made redundant and moved out on same day. Decided to become a writer. 2006 - the modern day. Still writing - have had first book - Tales from the Kerb - published by Kerbside Press (current titles 1). I've stuck it on the blog up there if you want to have a look - its also available to buy at LULU.com and I think Amazon shortly - you know you want to. Working on second (serious-ish novel) The Office of Archaic Offences and will hopfully have links on this page soon. Watch this space.

Substance Abuse - The first draft of a new novel by Benjamin W Evans
