Rock / Sock / -rhyme word here-
Remember to check the musician/band of the month. Every month throughout the course of the year, a new Mid Wales band or musician will get that most prestigious honour. Look for the BAND or MUSICIAN OF THE MONTH tag and MAKE sure you click that link.
Mid Wales Music Scene - A website to bring bands and fans together. The aim of MWMS is to give music fans in Mid Wales good music. We put on regular gigs, and we like to give people a nice mix of quality local bands, mixed with bands from away that perhaps wouldn't normally get to perform in Mid Wales, thus the fans wouldn't normally hear.

Band Members: Mid Wales Music Scene is, at the moment, just one guy trying his hardest to help musicians from Mid Wales get gigs, fans and exposure. I’m also dedicated to getting quality live music performed locally. Please don’t be offended if I don’t reply to ALL the messages I receive, seriously I get like 15-20 a day sometimes and I just don’t have the time to respond to each one. I’ll try my best to respond to as many as I can and all messages from bands/musicians in Mid Wales will get a reply, eventually, but don’t take it personally if I don’t get back to you right away, this is just a hobby I have a day job and social life to contend with too ;-)

Also regarding gigs. Priority is always given to Mid Wales performers when it comes to line-ups for shows. I like to get 1, maybe 2, touring acts from away to compliment the line-up thus I do have limited slots for bands outside of Mid Wales. Please understand if I can’t offer you any shows but I aim to get as many bands as possible to play. Also I have a very small budget per gig and every show gets funded via my own pocket (sometimes with the help of friends and some amazing sponsors), I do want to make shows affordable to local music enthusiasts thus I implore you to take this into consideration if requesting fees for a performance.

Mucho love and thanks for your support – Kev.xx
