ESTA B DALEY

Esta B Daley, originally from the tropical island of Antigua, comes with an energetic backbeat dance band from West London. Musical influences from her childhood days when her parents would play their old Ska and Reggae records and they would all dance in the middle of the front room singing along to Top Of The Pops, Jazz, Rock, Ska and Ragga.Esta sung on the Gospel circuit for many years before she started writing and performing her own songs in 2006. “We just love having fun onstage and enjoy interacting with the crowd. I write the songs and the band adds the flavour. They are a talented bunch, my band.”Esta was honoured to be chosen by Marc Mac of 4Hero in 2008 as the voice to feature in a project by the President of Black Jazz Records, James Hardge, to re-issue their back catalogue. Esta had the privilige of re-recording 'Revelation' and 'Peace' originally sung by award winning R&B recording artist Jean Carn, one of Esta's greatest influences.Now we are looking forward to 2009.
