I'd like to meet:

If you agree with our vision, then we want to meet you.Can an individual remain compassionate in the pursuit of capital gain?To put everything in a certain frame of mind, take into consideration the time when the government bailed out the savings and loans industry in the ‘90s. During that time, there was a big scandal during the ‘80s and eventually in the ‘90s, the government helped to eliminate that scandal. In comparison to the government and the savings/loans industry, the hip-hop industry is this century’s prime case of how record labels known for their rap artists who profiteer their criminal activities in the pursuit of capital gains. Some may think this is their way of life, but many don’t. However, the Last Voice has made it their job to educate its readers as to how and why such things exist in the hip-hop industry today. That also means, that we have a responsibility in making sure that the hip-hop industry gets the respect it deserves because as much bad that exists, good also exists and it seems to get ignored. The most famous example of the profiteering model was when gangster rapper, ‘Pac served a sentence for many crimes in state prison. During this time, he used his thug image to vastly promote the most successful record company on the west coast, Death Row Records. See any correlation between what ‘Pac did during his reign and the government of the ‘90s?Both are examples of legal profiteering for vicious activities. Meaning that governments, businesses, and individuals will pursue their own self- interests, often carelessly, and no one’s willing to take responsibility for wrong actions. Things just seemed to get ignored. The model that we often see in today’s society help stimulates the view that economics and ethics don’t mix. Especially in the hip-hop industry, this model seems to be a major role in the business. Our main goal is to report it, as well as, changing the current model and making people understand the way the hip-hop culture do business. As owners of TouchMore Media and the Last Voice, we want to point out that some of hip-hop’s critically acclaimed rappers and business moguls might have taken the streets’ approach and ethics to getting legal and illegal money as a means to an end, but that does not give other industries, including the government. the right to shoot hip-hop down. Hip-hop is here to stay and just like there’s good and bad in everything, there’s good in hip-hop and a lot of it. A major goal of ours is to emphasize ethics in the urban economy. We set ourselves apart from most hip-hop publications because they have not strived to change society, just report it.Thank you for the taking time out of your busy schedules to help support our business in the interest of promoting the urban/business culture. We call it a culture but most see it for the money it produces. Don't forget, we must preserve our culture all the way to the end because it defines us.
