About Me

I'm a student at the University of Oklahoma Health Science's Center, College of Public Health, currently working on a Master's degree in Epidemiology. I plan to eventually see it through to a Doctor of Public Health degree and/or, probably and, swing on over to med school for an M.D. degree focused on International Health.
So ultimately what I'm trying to do is go into the field of emerging and infectious disease, third world medicine, etc. Would love to work for the CDC's Epidemic Investigative Service or for the World Health Organization.
So other stuff about me, Tulsa's my hometown, I've been to art school and I formerly had a career in advertising, living in Dallas for several years. Art director, media director, etc. I'm quite artistic but I've given it up as a career to concentrate on doing good things for others. But I'm always painting and sculpting clay and designing stuff, in one way or another, for myself, my family, and my friends. Summers you can find me in a ceramics studio, winters painting.
