All of us need to believe that we are loved and lovable. We began life with confidence on both points, bathed in mother's love and swaddled in our own innocence. LOVE was never a question. Lookin myself honestly, I see flaws that make me less than completely lovable and less than perfectly loved. In deeper senses, what i called flaws are really the scars of hurts and wounds I've had in my life. When I look in the mirror, I thought I was just lookin at myself realistically, but the mirror doesn't reveal the truth that endures despite all the hurt I've had.Most of us go through life a little afraid, a little nervous, a little excited...that's what I've felt, we are like kids playing hide and seek, wanting to be found, yet hoping we won't be, biting our nails with anticipation. I told myself that whenever I have pain deep within me, I don't need to fully master self-love before loving another person. I just need to know and understand what makes my heart sing, what brings me joy, what makes me angry, what situations are and are not right for me and what i will and will not tolerate....
