I'd like to meet:
Do they have to be alive??? Hmmmm.....all of the Beatles, Abraham Lincoln, and President Bush if I could slap that bastard upside the head. Thats about all I can think of at the moment.
We we're talking - about the space between us all and the people - who hide themselves behind a wall of illusionNever glimpse the truth - then its far too late - when they pass away.We we're talking - about the love we all could share - when we find itto try our best to hold it there - with our love, with our love - we could save the world - if they only knew.Try to realize its all within yourself - no one else can make you changeand to see you're only very small, and life flows on within you and without you.We we're talking - about the love thats gone so cold and the people,Who gain the world and lose their soul - they dont know - they can't see - are you one of them? When you've seen beyond yourself - then you may find, peace of mind, is waiting thereAnd the time will come when you see we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you.-George Harrison, Within You and Without You - The Beatles

What Color Is Your Aura?
Music:
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, John Mayer, Diana Krall, Sublime, those are only a couple of favorites. I pretty much like some of everything!
Movies:
Tombstone, Boondock Saints, Delores Claiborne, 50 First Dates, Blow, Saving Private Ryan, American Beauty,... those are just a few of my favorites. I enjoy anything that makes you laugh, or gets you thinking.
Television:
I have no cable. Not even basic channels...so, no tv for me... which is terribly difficult during football season!
Books:
Well, seeing as how I dont have cable, reading is one of my favorite pass times. :) Sometimes I feel I have ADD when it comes to books... I start one, get half way through and then find another one I want to start... So, I feel very accomplished when I actually finish a book. Infact, I have just started reading a book called "Women of Courage" which I love so far. Before that I was reading "Making Waves", its a documentary on successful women in media. No wait, before that I was reading "The Secret Life of Plants". The last book I actually completed was "The Four Agreements" By Don Miguel Ruiz...its an amazing book that should be read by all. I would also definitly suggest reading Al Frankens "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them". Gives great insight to what kind of people have power over our sadly ignorant society, but adds comical humor. If you have desire to gain some knowledge about our government and media, this book is great!
I have so many books I have started and have yet to finish, like "To America" by Steven Ambrose. I love his writing style and he makes history so interesting.
