"Antiklimax is the name given to the keyboard endeavors of Frenchman Vincent Benesy. His debut album "Plus Loin Vers L' Est" (2006) is the result of five years' work focusing on many Euro film based ideas as impetus to funky
compositions carrying heavy bass lines with MIDI and digital percussion in tow.

About "Aurora Polaris" (2008)
"A Sonic Voyage through the Finnish Landscapes" / By the end of 2006 I decided to find a vocalist. Through "Myspace" I found Jaana Palonen, from Tampere / Finland, and proposed to collaborate with her, as I was really touched by her unique voice.
We constructed new material, and I reworked some of her songs.
I realized my concept was beginning to drift towards a darker approach, retaining the aspect of purity in Finland' s nature and wilderness, but also adding to the fact that nuclear danger now threatened this area (a new reactor being built for the nuclear power plant in Olkiluoto).
In the end, the concept was also a "romantic take" on a motionless journey to join a person that you really want to meet, music being the only link.

"The starting point for this album was a travel I made to Berlin at the end of 2008".
All the tracks were composed and performed by myself, except "HOMELESS" : lyrics & vocals by Jaana & except "DREAM THE WORLD" : music by Maya de Luna / VB arrangements.
Maya added her voice on her song and on "DRIFT AWAY".
