About Me

An 'about me' is really hard to write as an ever changing college student, theres no real, set in stone, 'me' at this age. I enjoy entertaining and making people happy while trying to do the same for myself if possible, thats always been and always will be true. The feelings and outlooks change though, Im trying to be me the way I was, sometimes emotions get in the way. Thats where the art comes in to play, Ill write or record a song then. Or draw. What I draw or write changes though with the moods, so I guess this is pointless. Im not writing about 'me' as much as Im saying this isn't going to be true in five minutes or five days or five years, whatever I write. The real 'about me' is in a conversation, if you want or need to talk to me, want to know me, its in a conversation with me that you'll get it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

A lot of the people I wanted to meet have passed away, George Harrison and Christopher Reeve being the biggest. They're always going to be with my mind and heart in whatever I do. Rob Schrab Ive talked to, Id love to hang out with him and talk more, my all time favorite storyteller and writer of Scud the Disposeable Assassin. Mel Brooks if at all possible, total genius. Eric Clapton just because itd be awesome to lick his guitar hand and hope I get some of that beautiful talent. (would I really lick his hand? You'll have to wait unitl I meet him to find out) I have to say Paul McCartney just because I love the Beatles, but really Ringo has met and played with so many cooler people. So Ringo, I must meet Ringo. Simon Steadman of possibly today's coolest band, Steadman. Stephen Tyler. Stephen f..$in Tyler. Now that would be an awesome lunch. Lunch with Aerosmith. You'd feel like Miles Davis. So many musicians would be awesome to meet, funk and classic rhythm and blues boys - Bo Diddley, the Ojays, JAMES BROWN!, Santana (the MASTER of the guitar), Earth, Wind, and Fire, Randy Bachman, Joey Molland (of Badfinger), Bob Dylan (itd be so weird yet awesome?!?!), Tom Petty (today's legend, the way the world looks at Elvis, I look at Petty), NEIL! Neil Diamond! Davy Jones? maybe. Jim Keltner (great drummer over the years, played with George Harrison a lot), Steve Cropper, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, all of the Blues Brothers Band including Dan Aykroyd and even Jim Belushi. Tom Jones (why not?) Jeez, so many, so much good music over years to be analyzed, taught, absorbed.....I would have to meet Jeff Lynne most of all though, George's best bud and ELO frontman - the only band questionably better than the Beatles.....I never said they were...God, this was a bad question to ask me. I hope I never have to decide on ONE person out of all these....because Id end up saying Bob Dole, and it would all just out of confusion and it would get weird, but Im sure Bob's awesome. Not as awesome as Bob Barker whom Id also like to meet...jeez, Im stopping here, too much....too much....

Inspiration Abound and Found

The years are shaped by the artists who affect them, in my humble opinion.  I've gone through the past few years expanding my traditional art skills in college at the Art Institute, and growing q...
