Had a guitar sitting in my room for near enough 2 years...All it did was gather dust and fill up unneeded space. Then one day I picked it up and started making noise (it was noise as I had no experience at all) it was God aweful I thought I was killing something...Still sounds as aweful today! Since then I've had like 3 different guitars...A Dean Baby ML in silver...A black Gibson SG...And now my current love interest my BC Rich Warbeast in black.
And for those of you who may be interested...My playing is just as bad now as it was back then...Hell there are two examples of my stuff from a couple of years ago on my page right here!
Lately I've started getting into thrash and death metal (Particularly Amon Amarth) and have started playing this style more and more, to most people thrash/death metal guitarists might just sound like noise but there is more melody to it than you may think. I'm not to sure what made me change from my normal style to a more heavier style it just sort of happened one day.
