Trial By Life (LOOKING FOR A MANAGER!)

TrialByLife came to be in 2005, almost died in 2007, and has been reborn in 2008. L, Rob and Jason write about whatever life throws at them, and they do it candidly. The band's first EP, "Therapy", unabashedly delves into some of the band members' most painful life experiences, and also some of their greatest triumphs. The lyrics, penned by all three members, are often harsh and blunt, yet at the same time cryptic. The music itself is dynamic and progressive. All three bandmates bring different tastes and influences to the table, and everything gets included. The songs emphasize an instrumental focus to TBL's songwirting, with the lyrics used as icing on the cake to complete the image the band wants it's listener to form. The band fills up every possible space with their music, yet there are moments where the audience is permitted a small respite from the intensity, a brief moment to take a breath before the music overwhelms the senses once agian. TrialByLife create their live shows this way, like the ebb and flow of the tide the audiance is alternately awash in sound and then left to gather their wits once again. It is an intense but positive experience.
