And the city won't tell a soul --

About Me

Once again I find myself typing this dribble out long after the sun as made it's way to the other side of the world leaving me and everything I have in this peaceful shroud of night. I suppose this section should be the easiest of all to fill out, give you all an idea of who this person is -- a grammatically correct stream of words that serve no other purpose than to cultivate an image of who I believe myself to be. So that leaves me to decide what are the most important things you need to know in order to grasp some understanding of me. Sitting here my vision flips from an expensive piece of paper that is supposed to indicate heightened ability to communicate and analyse, to chance encounters dressed in leather and demin that I was lucky enough to catch on film and I wonder what you all really need to know about me? If I could tell you the exact number of pages I've typed in my life time would that give you some indication of how my brain works, or doesn't? What if I disclosed that I tend to count down the days to trivial events? Would you assume then that this life is vacant, missing some important component? Or if I told you that there are three bottles of pills infront of me -- would you assume that I'm an addict of some sort? This is the problem you see, I cannot tell you enough about me for you to truly grasp who I am. All I can give you are snippets of me that are not fully explained and allow you to create the me you want to see. Then I become nothing more than a characiture whose meaning is defined entirely by the opinions of others. So in a vain attempt to avoid this I will tell you only one thing about me and I will try to explain it to its fullest so as to leave nothing for you to imagine.I am typing. Trying, as always, to fill this physical void with something that does more than take up space. Trying to fill the void with something to be remembered, something to be pondered, something that screams this is me without revealing much at all.
