I grew up on a small farm by one of the many lakes in northern Minnesota and moved down to Tennessee to chase my music dreams! Ever since the age of four, I have been playing the piano and singing to the tunes my mom would play for me on the piano. My parents have kept me grounded and have supported and shared my love of music. I've played in and won a few piano contests and talent shows and played with some great country bands here in Nashville and a great classic rock/top 40 rock band called "The Jury" in Minnesota. Check out their MySpace Page on my Top Friends list! I graduated from Belmont University in 2006 and have a Bachelor of Music degree, with an emphasis in music technology. At Belmont, I studied piano, voice, and played some tenor sax in band and pep band. I am currently playing piano and singing with local country bands in Nashville and teaching piano lessons at Cumberland University Creative Arts Center. I also enjoy accompanying choirs and vocalists and playing for school musicals. I love playing many types of music like classic rock, Top 40 rock, country, honkytonk, ragtime, blues, classical, and musical theater. My ultimate dream is to be on the road playing piano for a great band, recording piano tracks in a studio for sessions or demos, or playing some permanent gigs in some fun honkytonks or bars for a country or rock band. Also, I'd like my own horse farm someday! All in all, I love being a musician here in Nashville and enjoy being a Tennessean!
