Hi and welcome to my site! I have been singing for about 9 years now, and have been playing guitar and songwriting over the last 4. I started off in 2003 as a lead vocalist in a band called OvalSoul, and at the same time was also a backing vocalist in another band called Strange Feelings. I enjoyed this experience very very much. As my confidence grew so did my desire to play guitar and accompany myself singing the songs of all my favourite artists.I always wrote poems and have tons of notebooks full of random scribbles from even when i was at primary school, but it took me a long time to put it all together. I am 26 now and its finally starting to make sense. Its coming out very naturally now, and im happy to take it slowly cos i think when im ready to record my first album it will be a true and genuine example of what im about.The kind of music i write is mostly about what i see in the world, and what i see in people, and sometime what i think people see in me or how i see myself. I always have a notebook on me and like nothing more than to take a seat and observe the world going by, putting it all down there on paper.At the moment, im really enjoying Scottish folk music, and particularly love playing burns songs. They are so enjoyable to sing.Getting some songs recorded and onto this page is the next plan. I am also hoping to start playing on the acoustic scene in Glasgow again this month. Im open to working with other songwriters and musicians when it feels right.
