Ninja Cops formed in Summer 2006. They were: olly green (guitar), robin malloy (bass), alice kinoulty (vocals, and later also synth) and henry dodge (drums). They recorded a 3-track EP titled "on the edge" and had the song "no money" featured on BBC Cov&Warks radio. They came 3rd in the under 18 battle of the bands in nov-dec 2006 and again finished 3rd in the adult competition in Feb-April 2007. They received some flattering reviews in the Stratford Herald for their performances in battle of the bands, but it was shortly after this in April that the band decided it was time to go their separate ways.
What's happening to the Ninjas? Henry now drums in the band "Start?". Olly and Robin plan to continue making music in the Summer with a new line up. I'm certain we'll hear more of Alice too in the near future.
