Influences: Ronald Radford has been playing guitar since the age of five years old. Ronald had his on band by the time he was 7 years old. Every day his father Clyde would stand him in front of the refrigerator and make him play and sing after school. All those after school practices payed off when at the age of seven Radford was playing in every jukejoint and dive around South Carolina. As a teenager Radford played up and down the East Coast, until making his way into Nashville. Since those early days Radford has played with the likes of Randy Travis, Marshall Tucker Band, Ferlin Huskey, Blues Travler, Alan Jackson, Darly Singletary, Jerome McComb, Emily Lou Harris, Charlie Daniels, 38. Special, Bare Foot Servants, Vickie Byrd, Lonzo and Oscar. Played on thousands of records, and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opery over 100 times. Radford has also had a special segement from News Channel 7 done on his musical career. Ronald came off the road in 1994 and has played locally in studios across the south. Ronald started playing at the Blind Horse Saloon in Greenville South Carolina in 1996. He has done several fly dates with various artist since but, has not persued any more road gigs. Ronald lives in his hometown of Chesnee South Carolina with his wife Debbie & 2 nephews. Ronald has two older sons, John and James that are both very active in the local music buisness around the upstate. Ronald has been nominatted best traveling guitarist in country music two years in a row. Ronald has been called the one of the best guitarist in country music time and time again country music artist Darlye Singletary, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, and many many others.
