I consider myself a friendly person, but I don't suffer fools. Humor - good. Stupidity - bad.
There are a lot of my online friends that I'd like to meet. I'd also like to meet Anne McCaffery, J.K. Rowling, Charles DeLint and a few other authors. Other than those people, I just like meeting new people in general. I'm not particularly star struck. I think I'd find it far more interesting to meet some great movers and shakers in the sciences and other academic disciplines.
I DON'T want to hear from: People who can't tell the difference between "your," "you're" and "ur", Creation scientists, people who don't like kids, folks who don't read honest-to-gosh books, "playas", anyone proud of being a jerk, someone who thinks Bush is a great president and his cabinet members are also doing a great job, advertisers, folks who think sex is wrong, folks who think sex should be had with as many people as possible and people who can't insult someone without cursing. I also don't want to be friends with you if you say in your profile that you don't like to read or never read books. What would we have in common? NOT MUCH. Don't forget, I just said I do not have a desire to converse with the people mentioned after the little ":" sign.
