::SAREZ DJ PROFILE::
Hailing from the Riverland, Sarez first developed his vinyl addiction way back in 1994, during an overseas holiday in Europe. Two years later he bought his first decks and before long had mastered the art of mixing. Sarez spent the next few years playing at parties and promoting his own shows. By the late 90’s he had single handedly pioneered the dance scene in the Riverland.
In 2001 he established his name in Adelaide, winning the Heaven nightclub prestigious dj competition, beating 35 of the states finest upcoming dj’s. With regular guest spots at HEAVEN, Sarez began developing a huge crowd following. He was sort after to play at every major club in Adelaide. These included HQ, RISE, SAVVY, MARBLE BAR, CARGO, EARTH, PLANET, SODA ROOM, TRAFFIC, BLACK CAT, LeROX, VENUS. He also played alongside some of the worlds finest dj’s at parties like TWICE AS NICE, ENCHANTED, ULTRAWORLD, STARDUST, FRANTIC and UTOPIA. Sarez’ growing popularity was acknowledged in 2005 when he was voted 5th most popular dj in SA (Technics Inthemix50).
With continuous hard work in Adelaide and his popularity growing from strength to strength, Sarez went back to promoting big events in the Riverland. In 2004 he was picked up as the main promoter and stage coordinator for HAND PICKED FESTIVAL SA. Today his club nights attract sellout crowds and are of the finest quality in the state.
More recently well-known for his funky house/electro style, Sarez has been one of SA’s most versatile dj’s, playing from raves to funky bars; he is a lover of all electronic music. It’s always about the punters and his sets have something for everyone. Sarez is always on top of the game coverting his early 90's vinyl skills to utilizing cdj 1000's
