The band was founded in da year 2001. Company of stoned intelectual teenagers wanted to play experimental dub...but they couldn..t found da way out of improvising. After few personal changes and weird gigs the day D has come. They had a show on the biggest stage on Mighty sounds festival. They had...well...they tried... and in correspondence with this fiasco the band finally decided to rehears with the idea of "doing Things". After several months of rehearsing, they stood on da stage as a band before da big King Django. Till these days Music of Dub in da Ttrip has grown up on da roots and base of Jamaican music with echoes of middle european folklor, juish music and melodies from da south. What a great mixture!!! (and we are faster ad faster-...) The band itself calls it "Psychodestructive cabaret". We had many oportunities to play with many wonderfull bands like Panonia All stars orchestra, King Django ,New York Ska Jazz Ensamble, Dubioza kolektiv, Superhiks, Beef! Fast food orchestra, 2v1, Sto zvÃ..at and more czech ska and reggae bands and sound systems. It was aso our big honour to invite da band Prague ska conspiraci for their first gig. In these days we are on da summer tour through festivals, now sitting in Holland in cofeeshop, writing this text, waiting for tomorrows gig on Big rivers festival in Dordrecht with Skatalites!
