I'm a single mom of an eleven-year-old son. (he's my whole reason for being...) I'm a very laid-back and sweet person. I can get along with just about anyone, but one thing you never want to do is get on my bad side. When I'm pissed, I'm one bitch to be reckoned with! LOL! I take my family VERY seriously. If you can't even try to get along with my family, then please don't waste my time. I would do anything for them and defend them to the ends of the earth. (I've got the Momma Bear syndrome. You don't screw with Momma Bear's family! LOL!) I've had my fair share of "not-so-great " life experiences, but I've learned that each experience is a "learning" experience, so I wouldn't change anything. It's those experiences that have made me the person I am today. Another thing I've learned is that life is way too short to hold onto childish grudges. After losing some very special people in my life (my mother, my grandfather, and two very close friends) I've learned, the hard way, that every day is a gift and you always need to take advantage of it. Live each day as if it were your last. Tell the people you love that you love them. Don't wait! Do it now because you never know when life will end.

My Interests

I guess I have what you would call an "untraditional" family. There's me, my son, and my dad. Also there's my brother, his wife and their three kids. Then my "adopted" brother J.D. who lives in Jersey. Then there's my ex-husband, his wife, and their kids. Yes, I said my ex-husband and his family. They're my family too! We all get along great! I also happen to be dating one of the sweetest guys around! He's my STEEEEEEEEVE! LOL! It's been a long time since I had such a nice guy in my life and I'm so glad he is!

I'd like to meet:

I dislike people who lie, narrow-minded, stupid people, and anyone who hurts kids. I don't even want to waste my time on them! I want to meet open-minded, laid-back people who aren't "full of themselves". People with a sense of humor are a MUST! Gotta be able to laugh at yourself! Music:

Even tho' rock music is my favorite, I listen to everything!!! I love all types of music: rock, country, pop, dance, classical, etc. You name it, and I've probably got a CD with an artist that performs it. Of course, tho', I do have a favorite band... My Tattoo (I've loved them for over 18 years) But honestly, I do love ALL kinds of music, so it's kinda hard to pin-point just one type I like more than any other.

Movies:

Batman Begins, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original), the Star Wars movies, the Harry Potter movies, Titanic, Castaway, Twister, anything with Harrison Ford or Sandra Bullock in it....that's just to name a few.

Television:

Law & Order SVU, Law & Order CI, Will & Grace, ER, Mythbusters, Roseanne, Fresh Prince of Bel Air (Nick at Nite is so cool! Hehe!), TNA Wrestling, WWEs Raw & Smackdown (my favorite wrestlers are: Undertaker, Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie GuerreroR.I.P. Eddie!), and NASCAR racing (drivers Dale Jarrett, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick)

Books:

My absolute favorite book is Linda Lael Miller's "Forever and the Night". A love story about a vampire who goes thru eternity in search of the one mortal woman who can save his soul and love him forever.

Heroes:

My son is my hero. He is my whole reason for being here on this earth. If it weren't for him, I don't know where I'd be right now. Because of him I straightened up my life and grew up. He has taught me to open my heart up a little more than I used to. I am a better person now because of him. My other tattoo...
