Who are we. We are nobodies trying to help other nobodies become somebody. Our aim is to give the young people of today a chance to learn about aspects of music. Give the talented confidence to pursue their dreams and the enthusiastic a chance to learn where there talent lies.
Teenagers of most walks of life dream of playing the drums, guitar or singing. Others want to MC, DJ or produce some just want to be around musical equipment and learn how the music is built and created.Music is international language and the pleasure and confidence it gives people can help them in all paths they take.After various conversations with different young people we have come to the conclusion that there is a lot of "ignore them they are only kids" going on. Well we think it is time we did listen. A lot of our young people lack confidence, have no feeling of self worth,cannot get motivated and as for a future career have no idea. They panic when it comes to exams because they believe they cant do well so they don't try whether subconciously or not. We at AMWS don't profess to make everything right for them but in a small way perhaps we can help some.
