Anything by: Jean luc godard, Ingmar Bergman, Akira Kurosawa, Jean Vigo, Jean Renoir, Orson Welles, Stanley Kubrick, Charles Chaplin, Oliver Stone, Ren'e Clair, Luis Bunuel, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, Quentin Tarentino, Werner Herzog, Alfred Hitchcock and Clint Eastwood. Most Things by: Robert Rodriguez, Scorcese, Spielberg, Ozu, Fellini, Pasolini, Segio Leone, Lynch, Romero, Burton, Raimi. Favourite decade in cinema history would probably be the 40's or early 50's. Havnt really got a favourite film but if i was made to answer the question I'd say either "2001 A Space Odyssey", "Der Blaue Engel" or "Les Enfants du paradis". Theres so many great films though. Last Film i watched was Papillon which was brilliant (Dustin Hoffman proving again that hes one of the best). Also saw Zack Braff's Garden state the other day too...didnt think there was much to it really. Nothing wrong with it though i suppose. Oh yeah and i watched Lady in the water last week - Felt like an episode of the power rangers...which isnt good.
Phillips 14 inch TV/VCR Combi.
The Dark Tower series (and almost everything else by King), the Harry Potter books, Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I love all of Oscar Wilde's shit. Gotta 'big up' billy Shakespeare too. Really like Umberto Eco's "baudolino" and "The Mysterious Flame Of Queen Loana". David Nicholl's books are funny even if a tad depressing. Love Jack London and his heroic Dogs. Im really into the Sherlock Holmes books lately. Edgar Allen Poe is a bit heavy even if its not meant to be but still pretty cool. Hunter S Thompson makes me crazy. Ernest Hemingway and JG Ballard's short stories too. =)
