About Me

I absolutely love my life. Im on summer break from my college at The State University of New York in the beautiful town of New Paltz. Its located halfway between NYC and Albany about 1.5 outside of of NYC. I couldnt have asked for a better place to go to school. I just completed an internship at Lambda Legal in NY last semester, which was an exciting 5 months for me. I moved to New York about 5 years ago after completing AmeriCorps on the east coast. I keep asking myself what the heck Im going to do with my english degree, and then I remind myself how much fun I am having just being here. Im trying to learn how to be in the NOW more. Stop worrying about the future so much. Just letting things happen as they should. I love to laugh, its my favorite thing to do. I also love spending time with my girlfriend when we break from writing papers. When Im not reading novels for school, or taking a walk around Jackson Heights, Im usually dreaming about what I want my life to be like. Among other things I enjoy... okra, olives, faces, trees, learning and listening from the elders, purple, celebrations, smiles, fresh air, being out in the sun, working out, wholesome real people, yoga, pilates, eating Ben and Jerrys, adjustments and massages, comedy clubs, corona, myspace, peaches, cashews, creating art, nature, family, friends, chapstick, yummy lotion, bonfires, taking pictures, candles, incense, children, learning new things, dancing, streaking, smoothies, writing, traveling, coffee,thrift store shopping, spin class, nice working pens, water, playing, and snuggling...
