THE NAME BROOKSHIRE................................When I think about the name Brookshire instantly a thought forms in my mind, magically I vision Kings and Queens, Royalty. It is as if I have come from a history line of Power, Grace and Authority. I find myself asking the people that walked on this earth before me, what all of this means. Then suddenly it all made sense, the reason why I have been chosen to continue this legacy of Hero’s is because of Gods anointing in me...............……………………………………⠀¦â€¦â€¦â€¦...…Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Brookshire has been working towards his dream of being a true renaissance man through his endeavors in entertainment, fashion, and business. It all began in high school when he was offered a supporting role in the hit musical "The Music Man." It was then that Brookshire realized he belonged in the spotlight. His next major milestone was at Shaw University. As part of their modeling troop, he fine tuned his runway skills and discovered his great leadership abilities. Using his talents, he opened his first business, Exotic Mozek Modeling Production, where he taught hundreds of models from Coast to Coast “Modanceling", his signature runway style. After attending North Carolina Wesleyan College as a Business Administration major, Brookshire moved to New York City to pursue his love of fashion. His modeling career took off when he walked for fashion designer Franklin Raw during Fashion Week 2004. He then coordinated and walked in the First NYC Urban Fashion Week in 2005. That same year Brookshire accepted the positions of Editorial Assistant and Assistant Celebrity Editorial Photo Shoot Coordinator for Marcus Blassingame, Editor and Chief of multiple nationally recognized magazines. At the Alvin Alley Dance Studio and Steps on Broadway, he trained under hip hop masters Tweedy and Robin Dunn. Brookshire then landed the lead in two Off Broadway productions that later gained distribution throughout Canada. It was only a matter of time before one of the world’s top modeling agencies, Elite Modeling, took notice of Brookshire. However, Brookshire was soon offered a position in Hollywood that he could not refuse. Two weeks later he was flying off to the land of dreams. In Hollywood, Brookshire was the National Director of Sales for the contemporary high fashion clothing brand Key Closet. Brookshire also became a dual certified personal trainer. Having 7 years of experience in the field, he started his own personal training business: Let’s Make it Happen Total Fitness. Brookshire then landed international commercial spots and television roles on several widely recognized cable channels, including MTV and HBO. In fall of 2008 Brookshire had the unique opportunity to work with and open Restaurant XIV on the Famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood under four time James Beard Award winner and a 3 Star Michelin Guide holder, Chef Michael Mina. Cooking meals for his family since the tender age of five, Brookshire has gone on to work in over 17 different restaurants from coast to coast. With over ten years of fine dinning and hospitality experience, the future superstar is also the creator, host and chef of two talk and lifestyle television programs, "Survival Cooking for the Single Man," scheduled for 2010 and “Cooking it up with Brookshire,” set for 2012. Recently, Brookshire embarked on yet another journey, this time in the world of Internet Radio. “Real Talk with Brookshire” is set to air August 2009 on 92.5 KyHy, an internet radio station based out of Burbank, CA. Currently, Brookshire freelances as a Senior Account Executive for the number one fashion and beauty magazine in Los Angeles, Runway Magazine. At Runway, Brookshire coordinated the 2009 Oscar Gifting Suite held at the famous Liberace Penthouse. Brookshire also founded Mansion-Ent Management which manages Multi-Million dollar properties for use by exclusive clientele. Keeping busy and staying true to himself, Brookshire has perfectly balanced his passion for entertain and his desire to unselfishly help others. With everything going on in his entertainment career, Brookshire still finds the time to actively take part as Co-Chairman of Sponsorship for Vision Entertainment, a non-profit organization. Brookshire is also an active partner with three international pastors and their global ministries.
