Im keet, Im a musician,the former bass player, now guitar player of Red Kid (www.myspace.com/redkidtheband) and an english teacher to pay the rent. This site is my blog site for the mo, cos my other one crashed and ate my blogs (let that be a lesson to you all, always back up) Im 29 and feelin fine, I don't want to hear comments from anyone who a) thinks that sarcastic comments are gonna affect me in any way- bring them on, but dont think Im gonna actually be offended, Im a musician, Ive crocodile skin.b)thinks that cyber-bullying actually worksc) is mentally deranged ( no offence, but life's too short to ponder upon what condition you're afflicted with.d) is tryin to sell sh*tSo, that's that then. Im gonna try to upload my music asap, but for now check out www.redkid.info, or myspace/redkidtheband my current irish music faves are the immediate (alas they are no more..), humanzi, cathydavey, lauren guillery, fionn regan, leanne harte, the evil harrisons, vesta varro,TASC, hot sprockets and anyone from primal jelly social club, kila...theres more i know, but as i said, theyre my current ones. please support irish music, we need you, all these people have a myspace so check them out and add one of their tunes if you like it, it helps music and it spreads the word (and the love) my international faves..CSS, bonde de role, midlake, QOTSA, broken social scene, arcade fire, the shins, clap your hands say yeah, soulwax, jamie t, the knife,the good,the bad and the queen...there are so many..we are being spoiled, the last few years have been an amazing period for new music so check someone out and go buy some cds, and please dont burn a cd for someone who never buys any....

Movies:

anything with Al Pacino, anything without Nicholas Cage (apart from Lord of War) anything French,Spanish,italian or NON hollywoody big movie type affair... and these folk -almdovar,scorcese,allejandro almanaver,michel gondry, spike jones, copolla (sophie and francis ford), fellini,the coen brothers, david fincher...the list goes on...

Television:

the news, Sile, anything on RTE or TG4 (cos I don't have cable tv.....boohoo) like the wire,sopranos,entourage is pretty funny,the panel is hillarious,

Books:

anything by Norman Mailer,George Orwell,Albert Camus, Hermann Hesse,Henry Miller,Anais Nin,anything about music, politics,history,culture,popular culture, cookery books, anything about the middle east....hmmmm, Im sure Im forgetting stuff, oh yeah,the beat poets,Bob Dylans book "Chronicles" jaysus, anything except modern fiction stuff like dan brown, although, I mean, if you lke reading, you like reading, irregadless of subject matter,style etc.....or is that jus me???

Heroes:
