About Me

Based in London UK, Alan Banks is one of the capital’s fastest-rising and most versatile DJs. His musical style encompasses a wide variety of dance music genres spanning driving house, the best in uplifting trance and pumping techno, all combining to form a unique and distinctive brand of music to keep the dancefloor full from the beginning to end of his sets. Since his debut in 1997, Alan has played for many of the UK’s foremost promotions, brands and clubs including Judge Jules’ Judgement Sundays parties, Above & Beyond’s highly-regarded Anjunabeats nights, and numerous other events including The Gallery at Turnmills, Knowwhere, Party Proactive, Electronic Sessions, Wildchild, Tidy vs Extreme Euphoria, and many more. He has appeared alongside some of the world’s leading DJs and producers, amongst them Judge Jules, Above & Beyond, Marco V, Sander van Doorn, Matt Hardwick, Tall Paul, Yves Deruyter, Axel Karakas and DJ Preach to name a few. In additional to his regular live appearances, Alan continues to build a diverse, devoted and growing global following through frequent radio show broadcasts. In addition to his own 12-part Ibiza Sessions podcast, which attracted listeners across North America, Canada, the UK, Sri Lanka, Australia, Poland, Germany, Indonesia, China and Japan, he has appeared several times on worldwide-leading dance music station Ministry of Sound Radio as part of UK trance star Adam White’s Euphoria broadcasts.

You can download Alan's hour mix for Ministry if Sound through the download section and also keep abreast of all his actions on the news and gigs section.

Equally instrumental in Alan’s emerging profile is the rise of his own promotion Fundamental, one of the most highly regarded new brands in London nightlife in recent times. Showcasing his versatility across a number of dance music sounds, Alan’s residency at Fundamental has ensured the promotion’s growing army of fans return time and time again to check out the very best in upfront music from Alan and his partner Fusic brand (www.fusic.co.uk). www.fusic.co.uk is still young but promises to be an essential tool for the UK club scene.
