About Me

F rom the ashes of memorialized high school bands and youthfully experimental projects rises Floa; a culmination of musical diversity descending on the unsuspecting residence of New Hampshire in the autumn of 2003. We're dedicated to rocking your socks off, delivering unprecedented sonic explosions, and stealing your cigarettes. Our goal to write music as it is felt, not as it is expected, sends us careening over ledges, tumbling over boulders, and bushwhacking through impossibly dense jungle just to bring you, the musical snobs that you are, the very best of independent rock music the world can offer. Rock over London, rock over New Hampshire!

Sounds Like: floa = Pixies root of (Sonic Youth + Nirvana) * (Engine Down - Cowboy Troy) / Radiohead to the power of Drive Like Jehu.

Technical note: formula is still in it's beta stage. Preliminary A Nova's have resulted in a 45 percent p value (I believe this might be due to some extreme outliers), and thus rejected the null hypothesis.
Record Label: We're open to suggestions.
