Natalie Rodarte was born in 1986 in October, thus inhabiting her own personal squarefoot of space in the world, like everybody else. She is composed of skin and bone and blood and suffered from a few medical screw-ups. Natalie is a Spanish/Mexican/Asian combo from who-knows-where and prefers to just keep out of a cultural pair of shoes, especially the hand-me-down mentality heels from Tia. Some things just aren't good anymore. She also creates multiple series of paintings and writes her own graphic novels, currently (and fervently) working on a VERY hardcore graphic novel series with a deep christian basis behind each book and character, it is not for small children though because they may not all understand some of the experiences and situations in the book (I'll write a kid's series later on for them too). In this current book, christianity is not written as a system of religion or rules, but as a message of warfare not so much between human and human but between humans and heavenlies and hellbent creatures. Some of the understandings I include in the book's basis range from ancient discoveries, truths behind heavy studying of the meaning of Jesus's words and the reasons for them, the truth about spirits and angelic forces using fantasy characters, and the deep path of the christian soul and their battles both personal and impersonal. It is not a comfortable story because the world we live in is not a place of true comfort (hello, look at all the stuff people get themselves into) nor is it going to be our home forever. This graphic novel is intense, there is a lot of fighting, it is a bit gory at times and it is very spiritually moving at the same time. It is not the type of story told in Sunday school (for those of you who went to a Sunday school as a kid), this is the story I have been working on for several years in between school work and jobs and life's drama. It has never left me alone and I cannot get away from it. I have to write it and I won't stop until my heart knows I've completed it.My heart is a head at the guillotine of human hands, but that is good, for I will never be guilty of coldhearted cruelty which wavers souls and dampers passions...
...Someday I'll be visiting this place...

You Are Thick-Skinned
http://www.blogthings.com/areyouthinskinnedorthick...
People may not always love you, but that's totally fine.
You're happy with who you are, and you don't really crave outside approval.
You love yourself, and that's the most important thing. You have high self esteem.
And because you don't care what other people think, they tend to like you a lot!
Are You Thin Skinned or Thick Skinned?
