Emma’s 2002, celebrity chefs un-peeled calendar featured Australia’s favorite chef personalities body painted in images reflecting their recipes.March 2001, Emma won the coveted 1st prize at the CIDESCO World Congress Professional World Body Painting Championship in Hong Kong.Emma has exhibited 6 collections throughout Australia. Body.art.00 collection was her debut exhibition featuring a range of fashion-based designs. Emma’s ‘Petal’ Collection utilised the contours of the body to create flowers with minimal body visualised, creating an illusion to the eye. Her Yoga Collection features images created based on yoga poses and symbolism. In 2004, Emma was the arts feature of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in which she painted the performers as their cabaret persona. Emma’s portraits of celebrity chef personalities Ian Parmenter, Geoff Jansz and Jason Roberts feature at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra. Emma’s body.art.05 has been the best selling yet, featuring progressive body art images stretching the imagination.Emma’s upcoming and long awaited ‘inspired by Yoga’ calendar, published by East St Publishing is to be released this August/September with launches in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, featuring an exhibition of the images, creating much media attention. Conceptualised and styled by Amelia Hill and Photographed by award winning photographer Jacqui Way, the images reflect yoga poses and symbology in a colourful, feminine style.
