Well... I've worked in the music industry as a songwriter/producer for over 10 years now!! Seems like a lifetime ago when I signed my first record deal as the singer/guitarist with Welsh band " Ether ". It was June 1996 and, after one gig in a Cardiff pub, we hit lucky and found a home with one of the UKs best labels, Parlophone/EMI... home of The Beatles, Radiohead, Supergrass, Blur and numerous other rising guitar-based bands. We released our debut album "Strange" in 1998 and recorded another in 1999 which unfortunately to this day remains unreleased.

The music industry is a hard business but I've been incredibly lucky. Over the years I've signed two published deals with Warner Chappell; a record contract with EMI; a development deal with Interscope/Universal; a distribution deal with LA based indie label Beverly Martel; and recently signed as a writer/producer to the roster at Worlds End Producer Management with clients including Steve Lillywhite, Dave Sardy, Brian Malouf etc. You can check them out at www.worldsend.com

For the past few years I've been working on a project with singer/songwriter Katherine Davies called Sugar Rush. Our debut album " Beautiful But Tragic " was released October 2006.

We have spent a number of months in LA over the past year working with some of the finest writer/producers in the music industry
I have always been a studio boffin! My father invested in a little home-studio when I turned 13: an R8, Atari ST, Ensoniq SQ-80 and SD-1. I spent every waking hour recording and programming. The pics here, however, are from Hollywood Sound Recorders in LA...just a little more upmarket than the old bedroom!! Ha.
