About Me
I am a five-year old long-haired orange tabby living in the Houston area. I'm originally from the country and have another orange sibling and two black siblings. My owner has seen the other orange cat recently and says I'm definitely the better looking one. I'm pretty laid back--don't mind stangers and I have lots of personality to go around. My owner loves to play chase with me around the apartment--we stalk each other like she was another cat. Some of my favorite things to do are to sleep of course and play with my kitty condo, and I love drinking out of the faucet; there's just something about running water...
We have a routine every morning. I will wake her up either by putting my paw on her nose, or by just crawling up on her chest and laying down to be petted. Then, while she's getting ready for work, we play chase and I hide between the shower curtain and the liner on the edge of the tub while she tries to "get me". Oh, it's so fun! She has to wake up a little earlier in the morning just to make time to play with me, but I know she doesn't mind.
I haven't really been around another cat since kittenhood, so I would love to make some new friends.

Indoor or Outdoor? indoor, but occasionally I get to go out onto the balcony

Any offspring? no, and no chance of that either
Brothers or Sisters? I have 3 siblings, but not sure of their gender. We lost touch when I came to be with my owner
Favorite thing to annoy your human? I like to sharpen my claws on the carpet--I only do it for attention
Favorite spot in your house? I like the highest perch of my kitty condo, the chair in my owner's "office", under my grandmother's bed, windows
Arch enemy? the vaccuum cleaner and the vet
Favorite toy? my owner, my doggie, and mice
Favorite pastime? sleeping, playing--that's pretty much all I do
Scariest moment? anytime the vaccuum comes out; oh, and that time that we had to evacuate Houston for Hurrican Rita--a 17 hour car ride to a place that usually only takes 2 hours! It was hot and I was in my cat box and I was NOT happy.
Happiest moment? when my owner comes home at the end of the day to play with me
Pet Peeves? I absolutely hate it when I have to get a flea treatment, you know, the kind that gets squeezed onto the back of your neck? I feel so mistreated. And the vet-ugh-I bring out the claws and I am not myself and I am so sore from the shots and the stress afterwards that it takes me a week to recover--not good
Favorite Famous Animal? I don't know, Morris the Cat?
Favorite Human? My Owner!
Active or Non-active? a little of both
Mr./Ms. Independence or Lap Cat? I can be a little of both of that too
Catnip? no, I don't think I like it. I tried catnip mice before, but they just weren't for me
Secret Power? being able to sense when my owner is just about to get up out of bed--I'll come over and lay down on her chest so that she will pet me for a while
