Hi. I'm a rocker, I'm a roller, I'm an outta controller, bit of a hippie salt of the earth kinda guy, an intellectual, a cowboy, a playboy, a clown, a bafoon, a 4-wheeling redneck...pretty much your every day dynamo. I'm a sharp dresser, have killer sharp licks...I'm not your typical guitar picker, not even close (although I do have the right physique). Oh did I mention I'm humble?...ya that too. It ain't braggin' if you can back it up. lol. Ya ok I'm a bit of a showboater....Alberta born and raised, from up north (Edmonton and beyond), spent my high school years is Sask, moved to Calgary 5 years ago. In the meantime and in-between time I've been wailin' on my Tele...In the late 90's I started up an original band back in Saskatchewan: National Mud. Saskabush is pretty, yup she's flat and lord knows I'm a prarie boy so I'm pretty used to that. After that did a 70's hard rock/southern rock/groove bar band thing: Remedy... we rocked pretty good. But god damn some I didn't have a dime so I headed west and the roads were getting better as I crossed that Medicine line. Damn it's good to be back on mountain standard time, kickin' back watchin' the battle of Alberta at the Saddledome, the Oiler's kickin ass here in my Rocky Mountain home.It didn't take long to find the right musicians to put a new project together. Found me a singer/song writer troubadour type; James Callsen helpin' me out with the guitar grunts and growls and belting his wicked Southern Alberta drawl. Evil Marx kickin' the bass skin and smashing the ride...no really - smashin'. Wearing the bib overalls, bare chested lathered in bear grease on the big bitch bass is Mike Clarke. This motley crew of pretty boys and bad-asses will be kickin' out some hopped-up outlaw rebel country rawk in a Calgary/Cochrane/Sundre area juke joint soon.Thirsty ears tweekin' for fresh rock'n'roll punk cowboy tunes can find it posted here soon.Stim-u-later, Lucus VanGunnar
