About Me

Happiness is elusive - until you stop trying to become something, and instead work on "being" something. As CEO of a company that helps people lose weight and get into shape, a lot of people turn their hope over to that company. My job is to serve that hope with action, energy, and a real intention of getting them results. BEING is a state of now, the silence between thoughts where kindness, love, and service has a chance to appear. Who says that loving the business your in means you have to be fierce? The company we are building is constructed around a culture of service to the customer and of the discipline to make the right decisions. "Treat people with respect and be forthright" is one of our core values. It is one of the main reasons people like working with us. And it is one of the main reasons we like working together. This company thrives on experimenting and innovating. That can be messy - but it's more exciting than doing what everytone else does. My Interests

Water skiing, music, reading, contributing to the PTA (yeah, for real!) and biking. Oddly enouhgh, I really don't enjoy exercise, which perhaps is why beachbody products have to get results fast, because the CEO won't use them otherwise!

Music:

There was a band in Philadeplphia called "The Daves" who i wish had stuck it out. incredible energy. Otherwise my tastes are all over the place; Depending on the mood, I could be listening to Neil Diamond, Ben Folds, the Barenaked Ladies, the Who, Dave Matthews, some good Gospel, Fiddy cent, or the Counting Crows. Some classical will work its way in there, but I'm picky. And so far Jazz does not work. I kind of like the New Age stuff (but that's if I'm getting a massage.)

Television:

infomercials. documentaries. Studio 60 and the West Wing. otherwise, I'd rather read.

Books:

Good to Great, Power vs. Force, Think and Grow Rich, Illusions, the Power of Now, A Course In Miracles, the story of Google, Left to Tell

My Blog

WOWY!

We just created a WOWY group for MySpace ("MySpacers"). I hope to see as many people there, and look for future "giveaways" specifically for that group this fall!   www.wowy.com http://www.mybeac...

Beachbody depends on customer success

I've gotten some questions from outside the Beachbody commnunity as to why the CEO is on MySpace.  Especially since I already have a blog to use to feed my ego (http://carldaikeler.blogspot....

Testing MySpace with an idea in mind

I really don't want to start another blog... I can barely keep current on this one: http://carldaikeler.blogspot.com/ But this MySpace thing is something else, and I am here to see what it's about. Th...
