I'm a mom! Took me a while to finally get to write this..but let's just say that priorities have changed. Igor is 3 months old on Monday (17 of March) and as far as I am concerned the rest of the world can -let's just say this- fuck off and I won't even notice. Yeap I'm a mom. I no longer nerd on message boards, spend hours looking for records, and hours in record stores, still listening to music but it's most likely Stian who will DJ, still hoping I can go to the next show, even though I'm resigned I won't make it again. Now I spend my "free" time knitting baby clothes, working out the pregnancy pounds, nerding online to search for ecological household and baby products for cheap (note: I live in Norway, shit is expensive), and walk a lot cause it's the safest way to be sure that Igor will take his nap. I no longer drink, smoke cigarettes, hash or take drugs. I'm longing for a cold fresh beer on a terrasse in the summer..and I will have it, just not while I breastfeed full time. I also have to learn to chill out a bit more and stop stressing out counting hours of sleep the little one got, or why is he stuck at my boobs all day, or why is he cranky...I'm in love.
