whateverlife.comI watched a documentary the other day where this ultra liberal chick went around to various towns around the south and a few other redneck venues (NASCAR Races and the like) asking some of our highly eductaed (not so much)great southern white folks about the election. I was defintiely not suprised by what I heard. It seems that just so much as a-lot of un-informed black folks voted for Obama because he was black, and equal amount of our southern white folks did not vote for him just for that same reason. One even cried on camera asking the question, "What has our country come to where a Black man is in the White House". Dude was serious to! For those of you who actually watched the election coverage, did you happen to notice that the only southern state Obama took was Florida? Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina Tennessee and Georgia were all McCain states. Now, lets look at where these states rank in the area of public education and literacy. Wow, each of thes states is near the bottom! Could there possibly be a connection between education and racism? Just throwing it out there. Now for the black folks...By now, some of you have figured out that it was not you who put Obama in office. Blacks only make up about 20% of the overall U.S. population. That is not enough to win any election. Not all of the 20% is of voting age, and I can assure you that no mattter what you herad at the barber shop, half of the negroes in there did not carry thier asses to the polls. With that being said, you have the educated moderate white folks to thank for this man's victory. Republicans, you better get on the ball because I really do not see anyone out there who has what it takes to unseat "The Man". Bimbo (Im average Joe) Palin, Loudmouth Newt? Bobby (I deny my Indian ancestry) Jindal, Mike (I lost the first time) Huckabee? It aint lookin good. Mind you all, I am still a registered republican, with conservative values, but again, it aint lookin good. Somebody better get Colin Powell on the line and tell him the Republican party is in a genuine state of emergency!!! See, the same folks that put President Obama in office are the same ones who know that everything he is doing now is to undo years of someone else fucking up! So there is a learning curve and margin of error that is in place when it comes to everything he does. Think about it! I must admit though, no matter what the occasion, no matter what he is addressing, he is always cool doing it. I love the fact that My President has "Swagger". Might I add highly educated, always fresh dressed, articulate Swagger.
