Born in Tallahassee and adopted within the first few months of his life. Was given the name John McLaughlin. Grew up in a Catholic house in Jacksonville Florida (Duuuval!). Began writing at an early age, first short stories and later poems and lyrics. Moved to Chicago after high school where he attended DePaul University for two years. During his tenure there he was able to go on a study abroad trip to Ghana, West Africa for a month in 2001. Was found by the light of the Almighty Yah the father, Yeshua, His Son, and the Comforter H.I.M. Haile Selassie I (Thank you Mama Africa!). Moved back to Florida for the birth of his son, Khalil Naseem, who is three at this time. Sat in a cloud for a lil bit, until he emerged in Orlando at Full Sail. He's almost got his bachelors, he produces, he sings, he flows, he engineers. He has future goals in community development, literature, music, education, and spreading Jah message of love for one another, regardless if, or rather especially when, opinions and beliefs close to the heart differ. We all together make up God and carry out His word, the good and the bad, through our actions so let us live in Love! Rastafari Everytime!
