Ready to dig a little deeper?
Every living legend has to start somewhere... I'm born&raised in Wilmington, North Carolina.. also known as the Port City. ((right by the beach)) Thus my username "PortCityDime"...but don't get it twisted, not conceited in the least bit... just ask somebody. A true southern country girl & the perfect mix of a tomboy&girly-girl. I'm amazing and different than anybody you'll ever meet in your entire lifetime. I love myself and wouldn't trade places with ANYONE in the world. Still not conceited, just confident.

When you get to know me...
You realize that I'm mature and act older than my actual age. I've been through alot in my 18 years, and it's given me some good insight on life. You'll also see that I'm extremely independent, and having to ask somebody for anything makes me feel incompetent. (except for my mother for the time being). But the day is coming when I'll be able to spoil her just as she did me when I was a child, and even still today. I'm understanding & a good listener. Good-hearted and try to remember to treat everyone as I would expect to be treated. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness though, everyone knows I`M A G... and although it takes a lot to get me mad, it can happen. And when I do get to that level, I become even more aggravated that I let myself get mad...and therefore get even madder, feel me? I hate being anything but happy though, so it takes a lot to crush my mood. =)

What makes me happy?
Laughing. Plain&simple. Whatever it takes to laugh I'll do without hesitation... prime example is when I'm around my room mates or with Aneesa, I act a little crazy w/ them♥. I don't like when people that I care about are sad or upset, so I try my best to do whatever it takes to make them feel better... when they're happy - I'm happy =). I absolutely LOVE music, it's a huge part of my life. That & dancing... [yes I can dance!] The powers of music are endless & wonderful. Food&sleep are next on my list, tied cause I can't choose between them. I`m a fat girl @ heart. Mickey mouse, the color purple, sweet-tea & sundrop make me happy also. Which always makes goin' home even more special since sundrop is invisible in Charlotte. So while I'm here Cherry Pepsi/Coke&Mountain Dew do the job, since I'm picky about my tea. I like learning new things, but I'm still new to the whole college thing... so I'm working on staying focused & motivated. I♥the sky, during the day & at night. It amazes me... I'm happy&blessed to be on this earth still and I believe I'm living the best years of my life right now...

On the other side...
I embrace my imperfections because they make me who I am. But I can acknowledge them and attempt to make small changes where I think is necessary.. such as my procrastination problem. Sometimes it helps in pushing me to get things done, but other times it only causes problems. I also tend to worry more than I should, about any & everything. People get on my nerves quickly/easily, and I'm fast to make a decision on whether or not I like someone. & I'm stubborn, so once I make a decision like that, it's hard to change. I feel that life is short, and not everyone's going to like you & vice versa. No matter how hard you try, some personalities click, and some clash. I'm very sarcastic & joke around alot. So don't take it personal . I'll let you know when I'm being serious. I'm emotional. Sometimes I show it, sometimes I don't. And lastly I have a long list of fears...that I wish would dissapate just a little bit: snakes, elevators, heights, the dark....

BE CAREFUL IF YOU MAKE A WOMAN CRY B/C GOD COUNTS HER TEARS. WOMEN CAME FROM A MANS RIB - NOT FROM HIS FEET TO BE WALKED ON - NOT FROM HIS HEAD TO BE SUPERIOR - BUT FROM THE SIDE TO BE EQUAL - UNDER THE ARM TO BE PROTECTED & NEXT TO THE HEART TO BE LOVED♥
