One of the People - אחד העם

Our story begins with the coincidental meet between two young guitar players placed in Haifa, Israel – Tom Wininger and Tal Pinhas that were introduced to one another by a mutual friend. After getting to know each other better and following their musical connection, the two friends decided to create a band together.
With the new name, "One of the People", the band was put together by 5 musicians: lead singer, 2 guitarists, bassist and drummer. In this assembly, after the forge of team spirit and a lot of rehearsals at Tom's home shelter, One of the people began performing on different and random events, and in front of relatively small crowds.
Having acquired some experience and new songs, the band applied for participation in the regional "Yotsrim Yotsim" contest in the rock bands category, and won first place!
Shortly after the win and due to certain circumstances, the band had changed some of its formation, and was later assembled to what we know today, including the following friends:
• Tal Pinhas – Lead vocals and rhythm guitar.
• Tom Wininger – Lead guitar.
• Gilad Keren – Bass guitar.
• Nitsan Blau – percussion.
Today, the band focuses on progressive and Israeli rock music, and performs in various night clubs and bars, aside to known and senior artists and with other rock bands as well.
