Ferreck Dawn

Ferreck Dawn is Freek Coppens, a 23 year old dj and producer from Eindhoven. Freek started dj’ing in 2001. After playing at a lot of local events he decided to also start producing, aiming at international bookings and spreading his sound worldwide. Being a fan of various styles in house music, a combination of elements of different styles is what defines Freek’s productions. Don’t be surprised to hear trance elements with minimal beats and cool electro hooks combined with progressive baselines! Constantly combining different styles of house paid off. He had his first release March 2007 on the mighty Silicon recordings. After that, Freek upgraded his studio and started producing every day. In April 2008, 2 tracks called ‘SAS’ and ‘April’ were released on the digital label ‘Cloud 9’ and were very well received. But releasing on different labels isn’t really what Freek is looking for. To make a statement that he doesn’t like the closed mindedness in the housestyles but welcomes combinations of various styles he decided to start up his own label ‘Broken Boundaries’. The first release on this digital label is planned for May 2008 with a lot more to come….
