Really, I'm a fairly straight-forward person-- I love my God, I adore my family and I'm passionate about life! I'm not exactly slow-moving, and I can't say that "attention span" is my strength! Put it this way, I'm pretty sure I know where my kids get their ADD! Quite honestly, I remind myself of a little hummingbird, flitting from flower to flower. Personality-wise, I'm have a wicked, wacky sense of humor -- at times, irreverant and quite sarcastic. However, I absolutely LOVE to laugh, laugh until I cry, until I lose my breath...and sometimes I laugh when I shouldn't. And when my sister Sylvia and I are together, it gets absolutely wild ... we play off of one another until we're rolling on the floor. Over the years, I find that I am less inclined to suffer stupidity and a defeatist attitude. (Do NOT tell me "NO!" or "I can't!" There's no such thing!!! And yes, I've been called a pitbull.) Like with most people, life has kicked me in the teeth a few times, but with God's grace, I've picked myself up, dusted myself off and frankly feel fortunate that I've emerged from the ashes, perhaps a bit singed around the edges but with a grin on my face!! Lop-sided as it might be at times. Life? It's been QUITE a ride, and even with hard times, I've been blessed. I have a WONDERFUL, irreplaceable husband, a beautiful family, and I'm determined, the very best is yet to come!
