label BS cause a split within the group but i stayed afloat. writing anthems for theresa witherspoon and the Liberty, as well as VH1 and the MC Hammer project. After relocating to Atlanta due to legal issues I attacked the mixtape market which was still forming down there. my first year 2002 landed me on over 8 mixtapes. which said a lot for a industry not as open now as they were then to my texas flavor.
the following year doubled in apperances to the point where I wa being approached to do solo tapes. but being a hustler I took that and put it on my on back releasing the Incredible HollyHood series Volume 1-3.5. after moving a few thousand spaced copies my past caught up to me. my homies from the JIVE days which I never lost communication with worked us into the eyes of Evander Holyfield a breif relationship with REAL DEAL gave years of experience and chance. Giving me the oppurtunity to record over production from G-Money(Soulja Slim, UTP, CASH MONEY, UGK etc), and Lil Ronnie(SoSo Def, RKelly"Flirt" and many others). With our rejuvenated Swag we turned to the streets fully Indie(Sumaa Sumaa Records) launching the biggest uproars since the Legendary SUC.
From block parties to retail in our own chain(Sumaa Shop) to classic mixtape releases Hollyhood Reloaded, Cut the Check Vol.1-2. While building huge momentum for the first album release early 2008 HOLLYHOOD, with South Florida monster indie IFC. Not to be overlooked as a knock off amongst all the other all of sudden HollyHood's this title has been in heavy rotation since 2001. Led by the executive production of Joe Johnson and Packed with sounds from Jstrap the tone is refreshing the words are true and the response will be priceless. SUMAA!!!!!
