He is the drummer for my worship team and is also learning to play the keyboard and alto sax. God has given him a heart for people and has made him a young man of influence and a true leader (general) among his peers.My youngest son Samuel Jamal is one of God littlest praisers. He was born premature at 28 weeks and went home to be with God on the day of his birth September 2, 2005.I grew up in the Church of God in Christ. My uncle, Superintendant Joe Louis Stocker was my first pastor and my family was the church for a little while. My cousins and I were the choir. My father, Harvey W. Stocker (who pastors his own church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) was the assistant pastor and my mother was the head trustee and financial secretary.My life experiences have caused me to become a Psalm 34 worshipper! I have learned over the years how to bless the Lord at ALL times. When I went into early labor with Samuel; I just knew that God would keep my son and give me a powerful testimony. When they told me Samuel was dead, I couldn't believe it. OK Lord... WHAT HAPPENED ??? !! I PRAYED AND MY SON STILL DIED ??? This was the most devastating thing that had EVER happened to me. But even in that; I worshipped God. Was it easy? Not by any means. It was very hard to worship while my heart was breaking and my mind was full of questions. Was I able to worhip God under my own power? NO !!! I had the help and power of Holy Spirit. When I began to worship; God sent His word and promised me that, "...the one that shall come will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord." So now I'm praising Him for the promise of the "Little Messenger" to come because His word won't return unto Him void and God always keeps His promises.Above all else,I enjoy living my life to its fullest. I like good food and having fun. I love to laugh.I cherish every moment of every day that I am alive and have with my husband and son. Afterall, life is like a vapor and time is too precious to waste.Be encouraged family and friends because what's to come is better than what's been !!!Personal Motto: If you know WHO you are (your postion in the kingdom of God) and WHAT (your worth, usefulness) you will always be the servant of The One (God) who knows WHY
