Shady Rezidents

About Me

Shady Rezidents are a Midlands collective rooted in the East Mids of Derby. Featuring the vocal talents of Sir'vere Consequences, ReggiiMental and Brisko, the rezidents are aiming at a higher level of Hip Hop with influences from the conscious side of Uk Hip Hop in oppose to the ‘run of the mill’ braggadocio style that is commonly known as the art form. With accolades for work with Moorish Delta 7, Baby J, Lotek HiFi and support for the likes of Blade, Rodney P, Skinnyman, Klashnekoff and Hoodz Underground Shady Rezidents are moving toward a new era of midlands artists with a both conscious and realistic approach to the music. With production coming from midlands connection Raze Brooks and the Second Suzpect, Shady Rezidents are making waves on both the gig circuit and the radio waves with extensive support from HHB Radio, Birmingham’s Choice Fm and 1xtra’s Ras Kwame. With a full length LP in the pipeline, the Rezidents are making waves on the market right now with the ‘Phones 4 U Video’ now playing on Birminghams Galaxy 102.2 In conjunction with a string of gigs around the U.K in association with Frontline Management and The Give Back Project. Reviews from the Media such as HHC rate the movement as 'positive' and no doubt thats what we about....and.....as tipped by Glasgow’s own Urban Elite Magazine ‘These could be the ones to watch’ – Don’t Sleep…
