Coming from a small blue collar town north of Boston, surrounded by old mills and highways Yesterday's Heroes comes at you with a sound that makes you want to get rowdy with a bottle of Bass, Guinness, or even some good old fashioned whiskey. Drawing influence from bands such as Cock Sparrer, Street Dogs, and The Clash, however they also have a sound that is distinctly their own.
Yesterday's Heroes has received airplay on WERS' RadioBeat program and RadioYou's Bull Rock Radio as well as an appearance on TJ Welch of the Welch Boy's television program "Sonic Lobotomy". It's tough to afford getting out to shows these days, and the band knows that. They will play almost any time and any place. Yesterday's Heroes pride themselves in trying to give everyone 100% every show they play. So come on out to a show, grab a beer, and sing along.
"If you like bands like Cock Sparrer and street oi, you will like these guys." - Shawn Refuse (Refuse Resist)
"...this band brings a great energy to the stage. You won't regret it!" - Brian M. (Teenage Heart Records)
"They are working-class alcoholics that make great punk. Everywhere they go, regardless of where they play, they leave their mark." - Brett R. (Ball and Chain Records)
**For booking please contact the band directly or shoot us a Myspace message.**
Under no circumstances to we accept or participate in pay-to-play or ticket presell shows. We feel they are extremely detrimental to the scene and young bands especially. 'Promoters', get off your ass.
