we startet beige GT about 1997 in regensburg a small city in bavaria. far from the berlin hippsters we found a quite own musical way. in late 2000 we signed a record deal with the hamburg indielabel "l´age d´or". in 2001 we released our first ep "heads of agreement" (l´age d´or/zomba), followed by the album "jukebox heroes" (l´age d´or/zomba). our rock coverversion of dj rolandos technotrack "knights of the jaguar" (Y1/l´age d´or/zomba) was single of the week in the NME. we toured around germany, austria and switzerland. in 2002 we built up our own studio to work on our second album. the second album "cue" (l´age d´or/zomba) was released in spring 2004. the song "heat" was used as the theme of the german national handballteam for the olympic summergames in 2004. the beige GT "knights of the jaguar" version was used for the movie "die fetten jahre sind vorbei/the educators" by hans weingartner. after the cue livetour we were quite burnt out. so we decided to make a time out for a while. the teichmann brothers worked on the teichmann brothers. klaus startet to play the bass in the regensburg based band "jenny lund". martin founded the countryband "the mason-dixon line" and played "hackbrett" with the osthafen duo. wolfi startet to concentrate on his studies.in spring 2006, after a break of more then 2 years, we met again to decide how to go own. unfortunatly wolfi decided to leave the band to finally finish his studies. the rest of us, martin, klaus, hannes and andi just started to work on new songs. we are in a good mood. we have quite a lot ideas and hopefully we play live gigs again and maybe we will even release another record someday.
