Madd P is better known as one of the four founder members of the now legendary Boogie Bunch DJ crew, of whom, its been said, radically changed Londons club land by bringing a fresh combination of the old school sound system meets the Hip Hop DJ to the masses.Madd P, with friends the late DJ Swing, Sam and Robert, became known as Boogie Bunch. Learning their trade in the early nineties playing at blues parties all over South London, which led to a very successful Friday night stint at Londons Brixton Fridge.Over the years Madd P (Boogie Bunch) has been resident at some of Londons most successful club brands such as Twice as Nice, Soul Kitchen, Slow Motion. Also earning the repartition as virtually DJs-in-residence to visiting Americans such as Mary J Blige, Redman and Blackstreet Just to name a few. Madd P can be found doing his thing at Cookies & Cream and his monthly residency Kindredspirit at the Rhythm factory in Londons White chapel. Kindredspirit is one of Londons most successful nights to incorporate live music and spoken word.
