Black Francis musical interest started in the 80s. His attention was first drawn towards hardrock and NWBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) of which he gathered a serious record-collection. But from the moment that New Beat conquered Belgium and the first house and techno records became available, he was caught by the virus of dance music.He played his first records in Bugattis and Zanzibar in Kortrijk in 1988. Lots of locations, all over Europe, have followed since then. Black Francis plays both techno, house, DrumnBass, Acid, Breakbeat and Ambient. His style is described as non-commercial, with good technique and always emotive.Parties he has played at include Retro Acid, Kozzmozz, I Love Money, Mobilotopia, Demo Crazy, Cheops, Fuse, On The Block(D), BaseO (Ned), Vooruit, .
