Several clients have pulled Princess into the recording studio. She's worked with Killer Mike, Rock D, The Beat Bullies, and most recently, appeared on Chamillionaire's "The Sound of Revenge." That's Princess you hear on the standout track "Radio Interruption."
By age 10, Princess was a prodigy who progressed from grooming her doll's hair to coifing heads throughout her hometown of Savannah, Georgia. Upon the completion of high school, she moved to Atlanta and earned a cosmetology degree from Atlanta Area Technical College, finishing at the top of her class. Armed with a fierce determination and drive beyond her years, Princess opened her own hair salon at the young age of 18 and began building an empire from a childhood dream.
Princess burst onto the entertainment scene when Big Boi of OutKast requested her services after noticing the hair of their mutual friend, Beat Bullies producer Teeth Malloy. With these two high profile clients, her imaginative styles and innovative braid designs quickly caught the attention of Atlanta's booming music industry. Almost overnight, Princess's clientele grew to include Andre 3000 of OutKast, Ludacris, Nikki Broadway of The Beat Bullies, and Goodie Mob's Big Gip and T-Mo. Soon she was in demand across the country and worldwide.
While Princess's braid designs are what made her famous, clients from all over began to recognize her versatility. Princess travels with her clients, providing services for photo sessions, video shoots and concert tours around the globe. She's been featured in several magazines including Vibe and FHM, and viewers have seen her on MTV and BET.
The stars love Princess for her extraordinary creativity, unparalleled professionalism and endearing personality. But whether you're from Beverly Hills or Adamsville, Princess treats all of her clients like kings and queens.
As Princess continues to add notable clients and noteworthy projects, she still makes time to give back to her community, serving as a mentor to youth in the Atlanta area. She often provides free hairdos for underprivileged kids. Yet perhaps the biggest joy she provides is introducing the children to their favorite entertainers.
With an incomparable dedication to her profession, Princess ranks as one of the most respected hair stylists in the entertainment industry. Princess is sitting on top of the world, and she continues to rule.
