About Me

Artwork Done By Mr. S. Sap Productions for Gangsta Nation Productionz
Name: Steve SapAlias: Mr. S. SapHometown: San Diego, CACurrent Location: Charlotte, NCProducing Since: 1999Label: S. Sap Media Group/GNP RecordingsBiography:(1.) How did it all start? And who are you doing this all for? - I got my influence all from my brother. He gave me the motivation and the strive to get what I want and need. We used to produce for local rappers in the neighborhood and mix and chop up the song and make it sound like they went to an actual studio. From the beginning we just did it for fun and for the kicks. But I never would have thought I would make it this far in the music business…PERIOD! What keeps me going is my family 100%. I’m not doing this for me I’m doing all this for them. One day I’m going to put my mom and my sisters and brother in the house they and I deserved from the beginning. (2.) Before GNP (Gangsta Nation Productionz) did you have a different name? - Yes I did. LOL. It was N 2 Deep Records. I just made that sh*t up. It wasn’t serious, it was the time me and my brother just missed with it. If I’m right we both had different names for the label but fuc* it.LOL. (3.) Besides music…do you have any other occupations? - Yeah…I’m an artist, I’m in college mainly focused on Science, and business. Me and my manager are going to start up our own travel agency under our enterprise SAP Enterprises/Coast 2 Coast INC. And I want to open up a tattoo shop with my brother to show off out skills.LOL. My sister said she wanted to open a club up so I guess I’m going to look in that too. (4.) What names did you have growing up? - First it was TeC & Zero. My brother named me TeC (short for TeC 9) and Zero because I would play Mega Man so much on playstation he would name me Zero (character in Mega Man series). Then there was OG Bigg Cee, I got that name from banging. I was an OG and I was Big, so I just added another G. And tell this day 99% of people around me or known me for a long time still don’t know what Cee stands for.LOL. (5.) What does Cee stand for? - LOL. Well it’s going to be simple when I tell you. C: stood for two things California and Carolina and the two E’s stood for Eastside and Eastside. You see I’m from the eastside of San Diego and the eastside of Charlotte. Put it together. (6.) So what gang are you from and what’s the difference from Cali and the Carolinas? - Damn, lol. I’m from UTC (Original Eastside Up Town Crips). I would say the difference from Cali and over here is territory. Out here everyone can be from everywhere and still bang with each other and won’t trip about the side they stay on or block. But for Cali right when you pass your block…your done for. See coming from eastside of SD I could barely go to southeast unless I was going to see my cousin. That fuc*ed up right? But hey as you get older and progress in to an older being life gets more clearer. (7.) So do you get along with other gangs? - Yeah I do. I got homies from Rollin’ 20, 40’s, 60’s, EightTrey, Skyline Piru, 20 Piru, Folks, GD, VL’s, name em’ I good with them all. Gangs aren’t about killing and robbing it’s about respect and disrespect! (8.) On the lighter side in life, who have you been talking to for record deals and distributions? - Well I can’t say right now. I can say all four are real MAJOR!!! (9.) So are you affiliated with any joint ventures? - Yeah I got my homeboys in Qui.C Cash (C-Shock, Tha Kid and more), Crank It Up ENT. (Dj King, Dj Fix, King James, and Dj Moolah), L.T. (Jay & Ripp), Blue Crown ENT. and more. We’re all connected. So you fuc* with one you fuc* with all! (10.) Is there anybody you wish that could be here right now? - Yeah my Grandmother and Grandfather. And my home boy Francis Cortez Jr. (Big Frank)….I miss you Cuz! (11.) So do you have a solo coming out or any projects? - Yeah I do….it’s called Mindless Thoughts Of A Genius! (12.) Mindless Thoughts Of A Genius? - Yeah I called it that because my style in music is so diverse. I would make beats out of nowhere and everyone told me it was dope or crazy. I would give million dollar beats out for free, do professional artwork and just give it out. Yeah a mindless thought of a genius. I would make nothing into something without thinking about it. I don’t have one style of beats. I have west coast, east coast, south and up north beats all wrapped into one. So no one really knows what I got up my sleeve. Yeah my thought will never stop! (13.) When’s the release? - Don’t know. (14.) Well these is only part one of the interview, so for now do you have any shout outs? - Hell Yeah! To my whole family, My Mom, My 5 sisters and my brother. Everyone that stuck by my side through the thick and thin. Kosi, Dj King, Dj Fix, Smillzz, James, Big Sam (60 gang), Lil’ Dave, C-Shock, Tha Kid, Jayy, Ripp sh*t everyone!!!! R.I.P Grandma and pa, Big Frank, Stanley ‘Tookie’ Williams, Raymond Lee Washington and all the fallen soldiers!
