Weekdays 8-10PM Power Shift is a daily fan call-in show hosted by Joe Castello that discusses the issues and opinions on all things in the world of motor sports. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------ Joe Castello, is a native of South Florida and worked in the Miami radio market before coming to XM Radio in 2004. Joe grew up as a spectator and young driver at the local neighborhood drag strip. At age 15, he was offered the position of announcer at the same track where he raced. "At some point I realized that I loved hosting radio as much as I loved racing", Joe said. "I have been truly fortunate to be able to combine my passions". Each week, Joe's show "Power Shift!" covers the world of motor racing. NHRA Drag Racing, INDY CAR, Formula 1 and of course NASCAR are all part of a weekly mix. "I take great pride in introducing fans to new forms of motor sport. I think each is great in its own way." Each racing series has its own day so that fans can easily access their favorite. Tuesday highlights the NHRA, Wednesday is for INDY CAR and Thursday covers Formula 1 and as for NASCAR; "We have a saying on "Power Shift!", everyday is NASCAR day!"
